Hamilton Zoo

The zoo is 25 hectares of sanctuary in the Te Kaaroro nature precinct and is home to over 450 exotic and native animals. During our visit, we could see some of the animals pictured below. Unfortunately, the larger animals, such as the Chimpanzees, Rhinos, and big cats, were not visible that day. However, we still enjoyed our trek around the sanctuary, observing all the smaller animals.
