Gnomes Have Secrets Too
Dotti Thistlewig is not your average run of the mill garden gnome. She is a gnome who dances to her own tune. She just doesn’t like to be bunched into the general gnome population. A bit of a rebel, likes to live on the slightly wild side. Dotti dares to venture outside her own garden.
A Gnome In Paris
When we last left Dotti Thistlewig, she had finally found her lost parents, they were living in Mega Garden World. It was a great place to live. Lots of gnomes, fairies and oodles of frogs, birds, beautiful houses and the lights, oh they were lovely.
But……Today is going to be something else. Dotti awoke to find her surroundings had changed rather drastically. Gone were the familiar sounds, sights and gnomes of Mega Garden World.
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
A Gnome In China
The day of departure arrived; Dotti was still in the garden. Guess I’m not going, well, that’s settled. I’ll leave tonight to find Mum and Dad. Suddenly, Gem appeared in the garden, she reached down, scooped up Dotti and gave her a little squeeze. “You didn’t think I would leave you behind, did you?”
Gem squealed, “We are going to China.”
A Gnome In Egypt
Today we find our little gnome traveller sitting happily in her garden in the backyard of Gem and Tate’s home in Australia.
A very loud squeal of what could only be described as pure excitement came from the house. Dotti could hear the loud and excited voices out in her garden home.
It must be something wonderful, Dotti thought. Gem sounds extra excited. The door flew open, Gem raced out to Dotti’s house, reached in and lifted her out. She was spinning Dotti around in circles, hugging her saying, “We are going to Egypt.” Gem put Dotti back in her house, waved and squealed again. “We are going to Egypt, girlfriend.”
Dotti plopped down onto her bed hugging herself. Egypt, we are going on another adventure.
