About the Author
In my younger days I'd visit with my Nana, and we would chat about nothing and everything. Sometimes I'd tell her about my dreams. I told her I dreamt in colour and in my mind's eye, my characters were quite real. I know weird right! Nana once told me that dreams have a purpose, not always clear but if I follow my dreams, who knows where they will take me. Here I am retired and following a dream with my artistic sister by my side. Me writing and my sister Robbie drawing, my colourful friends are now coming to life.
About the Illustrator
When I was a kid, I was fascinated with the happiest place on earth, Walt Disney World. I loved drawing the Disney characters and I hoped that one day I would get to see my favourite place on the planet. The Disney cartoon characters would transport me to an imaginary place where life was all about fantasy, adventure and new places. Knowing that I love to draw and paint, my sister Margie asked me to join her in her new venture and put my spin on illustrating her children's books. So, as an amateur artist, here I am giving it a go.
