The Mint

We visited the Royal Australian Mint to see some rare and uncirculated coins. To be honest, the mint wasn't really on our radar as an interesting place to visit in our nation's capital. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that there is quite a bit of fascinating information and activities to explore, especially for those interested in coins. You can design your own coin on the computers and post it on a viewing wall. It is also possible to mint your own coin and take it home. The gift shop is well-stocked with a variety of items, including money, paintings, and toys for kids. If you're feeling hungry, the cafe is ready to satisfy your culinary needs.
