A DAY TOUR TO THE MOVIE SET OF HOBBITON

Today, Dotti and the Thistlewig Sisters enjoyed a wonderful guided tour of the Hobbiton Movie Set a short drive from MataMata in the Waikato Region (New Zealand). Our coach wound through the 1,250-acre sheep farm, with the Kaimai Ranges in the background. On approach to Hobbiton, the hillside was dotted with charming colourful Hobbit holes, inviting us into the world of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins.

Dotti joyfully posed at various photo spots, capturing the magic around us. We strolled along the winding paths, crossed the double arch-stone bridge, stopping at the legendary Green Dragon Inn for a refreshing drink of Ginger Beer.
